COMPANY HISTORY

The firm was first incorporated as Consulting Engineers Associates Limited and commenced business in 1993 as a limited liability company with offices at #54 Ramsaran Street, Chaguanas. In August 2005 the firm was re-registered as Consulting Engineers Associates 2005 Ltd under new management and continued to provide multifaceted Engineering and Project Management Services throughout Trinidad and Tobago and the Eastern Caribbean. In August 2020 the firm entered a new phase of its development when it transitioned into an employee owned Company in which the senior officers of the Company acquired the directorship, shareholding and management of the Company.

Over the years that the firm has been in operation, it has moved from strength to strength in the training and professional development of its key personnel, in its incorporation of state of- the-art engineering technology, and in its application of innovative solutions in engineering designs and project management. Today, all of the company’s key personnel are highly qualified technicians and registered engineers with considerable experience in the Planning, Management and Execution of Civil and Structural Engineering Designs and Construction Oversight. The Company’s in-house capabilities cover the full gamut of computerized systems and technology for innovation in all areas of engineering design analysis and production of drawings and documents.

With an operational history of over 27 years, CEAL continues to be a strong, competitive, client and employee-oriented Company. The Company has, over the years, successfully navigated the vagaries of the economic uncertainties that impact the construction industry without compromising its Core Values and today its stakeholders can be assured that the Company continues to be well poised to maintain its Vision and to achieve its Mission. The renewed commitment on the part of its directors and employees/owners, in a time when businesses are facing serious challenges due to the pressures brought on by the new normal of the COVID-19 environment, has further poised CEAL to move into its new phase as a highly successful and recognized engineering practice that provides clients with outstanding and valued engineering services.
