VAUGHN LEZAMA

Executive Chairman / Principal Engineer

Mr. Lezama graduated from the University of the West Indies in 1979 with a BSc in Civil Engineering. After gaining some 15 years’ experience with a leading engineering consultancy firm, he co-founded the firm Consulting Engineers Associated Limited in 1993. Mr. Lezama is a Fellow of the Association of Professional Engineers of Trinidad and Tobago, a Member of the American Society of Civil Engineers and a Registered Engineer (#04-110) with the Board of Engineering of Trinidad and Tobago.

As a nominee of the Association of Professional Engineers of Trinidad and Tobago, Engineer Lezama served two terms (2013-2019) as a Member of the Board of Engineering of Trinidad and Tobago. During his tenure on the Board he served as Chairman of the Board’s Assessment Committee with oversight for the Assessment of the practical professional competency of applicants for Registration with the Board of Engineering.

Mr. Lezama has considerable experience in the management and execution of engineering designs, technical and feasibility studies, structural condition assessment reports and Contract Administration and is widely and internationally trained in the use of the FIDIC suite of Contracts

DION WEBBER

Managing Director – Structural /Civil Engineer

Mr. Webber graduated from the University of the West Indies in 2008 with a BSc in Civil Engineering and also holds a MSc in Civil Engineering. He is a Member of the Association of Professional Engineers of Trinidad and Tobago and a Registered Engineer (#04-1486) with the Board of Engineering of Trinidad and Tobago. Having joined CEAL in 2008 he has gained considerable experience in engineering designs and construction supervision on a wide and complex range of engineering projects. Having shown promise in his professional development and demonstrating a high level of engineering competency, leadership and management capability at the company, Mr. Webber was appointed a Director of the Company in 2012. In 2020 the Board of Directors appointed Mr. Webber to the position of Managing Director of the company with effect from August 2020 to succeed Mr. Lezama, who held the position for the previous 26 years, and to guide the future growth and development of the Company.

ERLAND ALLEYNE

Executive Director – Structural /Civil Engineer

Mr. Alleyne graduated from the University of the West Indies in 2007 with a BSc in Civil Engineering and holds a MSc in Civil with Environmental Engineering. He is a Registered Engineer (#04-1485) with the Board of Engineering of Trinidad and Tobago and a Member of the Association of Professional Engineers of Trinidad and Tobago. Mr. Alleyne has acquired engineering experience that encompasses civil and structural engineering designs for a wide range of industrial, commercial and public sector projects. Mr. Alleyne is also experienced in the field of FIDIC Contract administration and Project Management and has carried out the function of Resident Engineer, managing multi-discipline teams on a range of projects for which he has held responsible charge for project oversight. Mr. Alleyne was appointed to the directorship of the company in 2019.

RICHARD GREENIDGE

Executive Director – Senior Technician

Mr. Greenidge has been a key member of the Company since 2004 during which time he has been involved in both construction supervision and development of the Company’s drafting practices and standards. Mr. Greenidge holds Certifications in Project Management and City & Guilds Certifications in Construction Technology. He has for several years been the most senior Technician at the Company with oversight responsibility for the high-quality output of the Company’s draughting office and of which the Company is indeed proud. In recognition of Mr. Greenidge’s important contribution to the Company and the leadership role he continues to play in developing and maintaining the Company’s drawing office standards Mr. Greenidge was appointed a Director of the Company in 2019.

MELLISSA LEZAMA-ROPER

Director/Secretary

Mrs. Lezama-Roper is a founding Director of Consulting Engineers Associates 2005 Ltd., She is a senior HR Professional with qualifications in Industrial/Organizational Psychology and Law and has considerable experience and proficiencies in Operations, Organizational Development, Performance Management and Employment Law. She has been largely involved at a senior leadership level with key responsibilities for development of business strategies, HR policies, training plans, manpower/succession planning as well as provision of legal/HR advice associated with workforce issues, including employment claims for unionized and non-unionized environments. Mrs. Lezama-Roper formulates and oversees the Company’s progressive HR Policies and as the Company’s Secretary she plays an essential role in supporting the Board of Directors and in governing and monitoring the operations of the company.

MAGDA LEZAMA

Associate & Senior Consultant

Magda Lezama graduated from the University of the West Indies in 1980 with a BSc in Civil Engineering and holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Civil Engineering Studies from Sheffield City Polytechnic, UK (1992), a MSc in Construction from Sheffield Hallam University, UK (1996) and training in
Sustainable Urban Drainage Systems (SUDS). Ms. Lezama is a Chartered Civil Engineer (UK), a Member of the Institution of Civil Engineers (UK) and a Fellow of the Association of Professional Engineers of Trinidad and Tobago. Engineer Lezama specializes in planning and infrastructure development with emphasis on investigation, design and construction of drainage schemes including Flood Risk Management and the use of hydraulic modeling tools for drainage design.
